Wharton Methodology
The Montessori Method
We adopt various Montessori methods which emphasise experiential learning in a systematic and tested manner. This covers a broad spectrum of topics such as practical life, sensorial, linguistic and mathematical development. It’s always on top of our list be the best montessori preschool in Singapore.
Your child is given their own space to explore a wide range of educational activities designed to develop their knowledge and competency in skills and abilities that will benefit them throughout life. They learn at their own pace with guidance from our teachers who act as facilitators where necessary. Their progress is not graded but celebrated.
Your child chooses the activities that pique their curiosity and becomes fully involved in their own learning journey. They learn discipline and focus as well as resilience through their challenges and confidence through their success.
The Group Participative Method
Young children are primarily egocentric and see the world in the context of “me”. Through group participation at Wharton in the context of “we” and “me in relation to the larger environment”, they learn to work with their peers and understand their place within their environment.
In working as a group, your child will learn social integration and the importance of communication while still being given ample opportunities to develop and express their creative talents.

The Literature-based
To ease your child’s transition into Singapore’s demanding local education system, we introduce on a gradual basis, subjects, pedagogical styles and the routines of the MOE system in an assimilated environment. As a result, your child will graduate from Wharton Preschool with Linguistic, Mathematics and Science competency and be well prepared for Primary 1.
